One Day In Spring is a collection of improvisations and interpretations on the themes of one particular spring day: rain, birds singing, sunrise and awakening thoughts, which plays like an intermingled waking dream-state. The vast majority of the music was composed and recorded entirely in one morning and in one sitting, without any advance planning. Self-taught composer David Franklin says, "Because I believed no one else would ever hear it, this is the most vulnerable album I’ve ever created!
