Catrina Scullion

Irish soprano Catrina Scullion is leading a heartfelt campaign called “Sparkle for Sinead” to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) and MND Northern Ireland. She has released a beautiful rendition of the classic song "You'll Never Walk Alone" as a charity single (featuring pianist Catriona McElhinney-Grimes), with all proceeds supporting MND care, research, and families affected by the disease. The initiative is deeply personal: Catrina's cousin Sinéad, aged 42 and mother to three young children, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in November 2021 shortly after giving birth to her third child. MND is a progressive, life-shortening condition with no cure, and Sinéad's health has deteriorated rapidly since diagnosis.
