Healing Love

A tender new composition honouring love’s quiet power to restore the spirit and bring new beginnings. Olga wrote Healing Love for her dear friend Joel Douglas, whose journey inspired this deeply personal piece. After many years of loneliness following the loss of his wife to pancreatic cancer in 2013, Joel found happiness again when he remarried in 2024. His wife Mascha has brought such joy and light back into his life, and Olga felt that this beautiful renewal deserved its own music. Recorded live at St Paul’s Church in Bedford, this performance captures the piece’s gentle, healing quality on the church’s beautiful grand piano. The calm surroundings and peaceful atmosphere of St Paul’s provided the perfect setting for music that speaks to hope, renewal and the transformative nature of love.
