An intimate piano solo performance of Olga’s Royal Platinum Love Song, originally composed to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip’s historic Platinum wedding anniversary of 70 years in November 2017. This ambitious composition was first recorded at Angel Studios in London with a spectacular 72-piece live orchestra, the Arts Symphonic Orchestra and Arts Voices choir, conducted and produced by renowned classical crossover producer Robert Emery. The orchestral version featured Australian tenor and West End star Daniel Koek (celebrated for his role as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables) alongside number one classical album soprano Joanna Forest, whose powerful and tender vocals brought extraordinary magic to the piece. Royal Platinum Love Song was part of a cherished tradition that began years earlier between Olga and Cruse Bereavement Care, a charity for which the late Queen was patron. The charity established a unique music programme of commissioning Olga to compose special musical gifts for Her Majesty to commemorate important Royal Household events. Over the years, Olga created numerous pieces presented to the Queen, including ‘Themes of Life and Glory’ (a tribute to the Queen Mother), ‘Celebration’ (for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s marriage), the Diamond Jubilee anthem ‘Jubilation’ performed by Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Band Portsmouth, ‘Royal Lullaby’ for Prince George, and ‘Lullaby for Princess Charlotte’. Released on 10 November 2017, the original recording was a dramatic, cinematic masterpiece celebrating enduring love—a timeless classic that touched the nation. Now, in this November 2025 piano performance at St Paul’s Church Bedford, Olga brings the piece’s romantic sentiment and emotional depth to life through her own intimate interpretation.
