In this episode, Jannie interviews Tony and three-time Emmy-nominated producer Mia Moravis — Remi Award-winning filmmaker, actress, and 27-time ASCAP Plus Award-winning songwriter. Mia shares insights from producing the Grammy-nominated album Aquamarine, the documentary Sweet Harmony: The Manhattan Transfer directed by Oscar nominee Miles Magulescu, and her ongoing work with Broadway Records. A Grammy Voting Member since 1993 who serves on the Board of Governors of the NY Chapter, Mia reflects on decades of work spanning Broadway and West End productions, her roles on the DEI and Musical Theatre Task Force, and what it takes to build a multi-faceted career at the intersection of stage, screen, and recorded music.
